'Education is the most important tool we can use to change the world'. ACAD is poised to positively contribute to the development of Cameroon through educational support to underprivileged children in marginalised and underserved communities.
Our emphasis in this area has mostly focused on vulnerable women and girls in Cameroon. In 2019, for example, ACAD entered into a partnership with the Milat Foundation to offer vocational training to twelve women and girls in sowing and hairdressing trades.
Cameroon unfortunately has a huge number of orphan children, made worse by the ongoing conflict in the Southwest and Northwest regions. ACAD in its charitable efforts, carries out a number of orphan support initiatives such as food and clothing distribution.

The Association of Cameroonians in Denmark (ACAD) is an apolitical, non-profit community association committed to promoting cultural co-existence among its members. ACAD works for the unity, integration and socio-economic development of its members and their families in Denmark. Our overall objective is to bring together all Cameroonians living and working in Denmark to organise and carry out cultural activities reflecting the Cameroonian heritage as well as social and sporting activities. We celebrate with one another in times of joy and lean on each other in sad moments. As a diaspora organisation, ACAD also carry out development and humanitarian projects in Cameroon.
