The Association of Cameroonians in Denmark - ACAD is an apolitical, non-profit community association committed to promoting social, economic and cultural co-existence among its members. ACAD works for the unity, integration and development of its members and their families in Denmark. Our overall objective has always been to bring together Cameroonians living and working in the Kingdom of Denmark, organise and carry out socio-cultural activities reflecting our heritage, and help each other succeed and thrive in Denmark. We celebrate with members in times of joy and support each other in difficult moments. As a diaspora organisation, ACAD also gives back to home country in a bid to contribute to development and nation building. This objective is achieved by our involvement in development and humanitarian projects in our country of origin, Cameroon.

The members of the Association of Cameroonians in Denmark - ACAD, together with their children have been coming together since 2010 when a group of goodwill Cameroonians residing in Copenhagen came together to form a community association focusing on social gathering for unity, integration and development as well as showcasing our culture to the wider Danish society. Since then, the not-for-profit community organization continue to uphold a strong mission, vision and values.
Each Other's Keeper
We strive to empower our community through solidarity, collaboration, support, and dedication to make a lasting impact on society.
Members of the association, their children, and affiliates gather together each month. During this monthly come- together, they mingle, chat and share delicious dinner prepared and served meeting host. We always welcome guests.
During the General Assembly meetings organised every third Saturday of the month, ACAD members deliberate on a set agenda, and draft plans and implementation strategies for agreed activities set to be implemented within the year.
Members share opportunities and challenges through formal and informally organised educative presentations and talks on a range of subjects including but not limited to jobs, health, education, children, parenting, and immigration.
